Where is the bag?
Guest report · 09:32
Ms Lee: “My navy suitcase was next to reception. Now it is gone. There is a red ribbon on the handle. I have important things inside.”
6. Information-gap investigation
Work in teams of three. Your teacher gives each person one private card: A (front desk), B (bell attendant) or C (security). Do not show your card. Ask questions and share the information your colleague requests.
| Question | Your team’s answer |
|---|---|
| What is confirmed? Give two facts. | ________ |
| What is still unknown? | ________ |
| Which member of staff should check the storage area? | ________ |
| What must be checked before releasing a bag? | ________ |
| What exactly will you tell Ms Lee now? | ________ |
Ask: When did you last see it? / Do you have a luggage tag? / Could you describe the handle?
7. One sentence can change everything
Choose the best reply. Explain why the other two are risky.
- A. Your bag is definitely safe. We always know where everything is.
- B. I’m sorry this is worrying. We are checking our luggage records. Can I confirm your bag tag and a few details?
- C. There are many blue bags here. Please take the one that looks like yours.
