11. Mini Topic: Why Do People Travel?

Read the text.

People travel for many reasons. Some people travel because they want to rest. They go to the sea, lie on the beach, swim, and forget about work or study. Other people travel because they want to learn something new. They visit museums, old streets, castles, churches, and famous places.

Some people travel to meet family or friends. Some travel for work. Some travel because they want adventure. They climb mountains, sleep in tents, walk in forests, or visit small villages far from big cities.

But travel is not always perfect. Tickets can be expensive. Hotels can be dirty. Trains can be late. Tourists can lose money, documents, or luggage. Sometimes the worst trip becomes the best story.
